A strong champion of education and early supporter of the Kentucky Education Reform Act, Senator Boswell has played a vital role in improving education in the Commonwealth, obtaining funding for elementary, high school and college classrooms throughout Western Kentucky.
He is also vitally interested in making full use of Kentucky's rich natural resources to increase our country's energy independence and to provide good-paying jobs for Kentuckians.
Senator Boswell, who attended Western Kentucky and Brescia College, is the sales & marketing director of the Executive Inn- Rivermont Hotel & Convention Center.
He and his wife, Sandi, have two children, David Jr. and Todd Christopher, and three grandchildren, including Nicholas and Madalyn, at left, who visited their grandfather on the floor of the Kentucky Senate. Sandi is in the background.
The family lives in Daviess County, where they attend Saint Mary Magdalene Church.
