Senate Democratic Leader on Special Session 2007-08-26 FRANKFORT — The Kentucky General Assembly met this week and approved economic development legislation that will make Kentucky a national leader in energy policy. America's dependence on foreign oil has led state and national leaders to re-examine what natural resources are within America's boundaries that will lead to energy independence.
